Bahrain Special Envoy for Climate Affairs meets with Egyptian Ambassador

Bahrain’s Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, the Chief Executive Officer of the Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE), Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, received Egypt’s Ambassador to Bahrain Yasser Mohammed Shaaban and praised the countries’ strong historical relations and increasing cooperation. Dr. bin Daina congratulated Egypt on hosting the COP27 Climate Change Conference in Sharm Al Sheikh in November.

Bahrain Special Envoy for Climate Affairs meets with Egyptian AmbassadorBahrain is keen to participate in the summit, he said, praising Egypt’s capabilities and its longstanding experience hosting major conferences and festivals across the world. Egypt’s ambassador to Bahrain praised the bilateral ties, emphasizing that his country was keen to see the participation of Bahrain at the upcoming COP27 Climate Change Conference in order to contribute to the summit’s success and recommendations.
