Zohr gas field production reaches 2.7 billion cubic meters a day in Egypt

During Fiscal Year 2021-2022, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced that the Zohr gas field recorded its highest production rate since the start of production began in 2017. As of Monday, the ministry reported that current production from the Zohr gas field has risen to 2.7 billion cubic meters per day.

It added that investments in the field have exceeded $12 billion since work began. According to Tarek El Molla, Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, there are good opportunities for explorations on land and at sea in order to increase oil and gas reserves.
